It seems like the company used google translate or hired someone who does not write children's story (or know children for that matter!) to write the Vietnamese portion. I had Vietnamese parents read them to verify my experience, and they were humored and appalled that these books were greenlighted for publication. Sadly, I continue my hunt for good English-Vietnamese children's books.
